No Revival
without Reformation
My Dear Friends and Intercessors,
Greetings
As we enter this New Year, I take this opportunity to wish you
much prosperity and productivity in your life and God’s
blessings on you and your and family. I also want to share with
you some things, which the Lord spoke into my spirit today as
I woke up from sleeping.
Many people are praying for Revival but God is still interested
in Reformation. He wants to reform the church (and all it parts
or members) so it will look and function the way He intended it
to. We can experience revival without reformation but the revival
would not last very long because the church will continue to operate
inaccurately. This is the reason that revivals are short lived.
In Ezekiel 37:1-10, Ezekiel came upon a valley of dry bones. God
told him that He wanted these dry bones to live again. Ezekiel
had first to prophesy a reformation of these dry bones. The bones
rattled and came together forming skeletons, then tendons, then
flesh, then skin. There was a perfect reforming of these bodies.
It was only after this reforming that Ezekiel was able to command
Life into them. They became a mighty army, moving with accuracy
and purpose. Can you imaging what would have happened if the life
had come into these dry bones before they had been reformed. Utter
confusion. Noise, rattling. Nothing else.
The Church has not moved with real accuracy and precision since
the dark ages. Although it has experienced a measure of reform
and revival during the last five centuries it has not come to
that place where it is operating as God intended. With all the
five fold equipping gifts now restored, recognized and functioning,
we shall see the equipping and activation of the saints and the
church will begin to operate the way it was intended by God. This
will result in a bold advance of the Kingdom of God in the earth
and the soon return of out Lord to establish his visible, earthly
kingdom.
The spirit of Ezekiel is in the earth today, prophesying reform
and life to the deformity and dryness in the church. New and fresh
alignment is taking place both in the corporate church and the
individual parts. Crooked areas are being straightened out and
fresh life is flowing in. The earth will see the church like it
never has before. It will begin to move in real power and authority.
This is the year when the authority of the saints in the church
will be seen. It will emerge like when Jesus sent out the seventy-two
in Luke chapter 10. Jesus said that He saw satan fall like lightning
from heaven. Everywhere saints will be rising up and doing exploits
for God. It is just the beginning of the saint’s movement
in the earth.
This will be a year of intense spiritual warfare but also one
of astounding, visible and notable victories. Even as the physical
or natural war continues, the spiritual war will intensify. Remember
that that which we see in the natural is only a manifestation
of what is going on in the spirit realm to hinder the advancement
of Gods kingdom. The natural war will not hinder but facilitate
the penetrating of Gods kingdom into those resistive areas of
the kingdom of darkness. This might sound strange but the Holy
Ghost will give you insight.
This will be a year of famine but it will also be a year of great
harvest for many. There are many in the kingdom that shall sow
and reap a great harvest during this year of economic and financial
famine. Don’t just give this year, SOW. Don’t sow
according to the flesh either. Be careful how you sow. Let the
Holy Spirit guide you. Do not sow into something because it looks
good or claims to be doing great things for God. Don’t sow
because man promises you great returns. Find out what God is really
doing in the earth and where he is doing it or who is working
with God and let the Holy Spirit guide you how to sow.
In Genesis 26:12-14 Isaac sowed during the famine and in the same
year reap 100 fold harvest because the Lord blessed Him. He positioned
himself for a harvest in spite of what was happening around him.
Decide that this will be your year of harvest and position yourself
for it by sowing in Good/God ground. Only those who sow in good
ground reap hundred-fold harvest.
These are the thoughts that the Lord gave me to share with you
as I lay upon my bed early in the morning of this New Year eve.
Meditate upon them and may this year be the most exciting year
of your life.
Pray for the Final Thrust Ministries and us.
