PRAYING FOR
REVIVAL
What an awesome time we had on Saturday at our
prayer meeting, in spite of the drenching rain and thunderstorm.
Thanks to those of you who braved the weather to make it out to pray
with us. There was a keen awareness that the Holy Spirit was there
leading and directing us to pray according to the will of God.
Our prayer focus was on:
1) Revival and Reformation in the
church of Massachusetts
2) God’s intervention in the spiritual affairs of this
Nation, our State and our City.
3) Salvation of souls and laborers for God’s harvest.
4) Salvation and healing of friends and loved ones.
The Lord gave us the strategy to pray efficiently
and effectively. The Lord also spoke to us about praying according
to His word. Not just what is written, but being able to discern
what God is saying and doing now and aligning our prayers with His
will.
There were also prophetic words about the kind of
revival and reformation that is coming. It will not be a revival of
celebration but of widespread repentance leading to salvation and
deliverance.
The Spirit of God is hovering and brooding over
this City waiting for the Word of God to be spoken to activate God’s
will. And as we prayed for Revival and Revelation in the church of
Massachusetts, we knew that God was responding. This was clearly
activated in the atmosphere over Boston on Saturday. The Spirit of
the Lord has already started moving. Let the prophets rise up and
begin to speak the accurate Word of the Lord.
Now look out for change. Look out for signs and
acts of repentance. Look out for moves of the Holy Spirit that will
remove persons and organizations that stand in the way of God’s
purposes. It has already started. The word of the Lord has been
spoken and we will continue to speak. Continue to speak God’s word
into situations.
It will move mountains and dry up unproductive
and unfruitful “Trees” that are not meeting the NOW requirements of
God for fruit. (See Matt. 21:18-22) It will penetrate and erase the
darkness over Massachusetts and Boston and the Light will come
forth. It will bring order to the chaos. So do not hold back from
speaking and declaring the NOW Word of the Lord into every situation
here. Jesus Christ is Lord over this city and state. Let us
prepare the way for Him to come and rain Righteousness over it.
Our next prayer meeting will be in one month’s
time. It is now set for the last Saturday of every month. We meet
every Saturday from 5 to 8 PM at the “Jubilee House”, 10 Melville
Ave. (Off Washington St. in Codman Square) Dorchester. It is
wonderful to be a part of this team of people that are fulfilling
the Great Commission and preparing the way of the Lord.
Please feel free to call us for any reason that
you might have.
Yours for the Final Thrust,
Basil Yarde
