Brazilian Mission
Field
Hello Dear Friends,
Marion and I are in Brazil. We had a very pleasant 9 and a half
hour flight from Newark, New Jersey to San Paulo. All together
20 hours traveling to where we are staying from Boston. But it
is so wonderful to know that we are in the center of Gods will.
The Harvest here is so ripe until it is decaying. I have never
seen so many cars and people in one place. There is also so much
poverty like you have never seen. Hundreds of thousands of people
living in card board boxes under the bridges. If I had not seen
this it would be hard to imagine it. And the children. Hundreds
of little boys and girls all along the streets either begging
or trying to sell something in order to survive. I am told that
many of them revert to prostitution. The harvest is so ripe. My
heart is broken and I am driven to tears to think that they have
to live like that day after day and many will never get out of
it. Would you pray for us that somehow we can activate some Saints
here to see what Gods heart is for this harvest field.
Our time here will be spent Mobilizing, Motivating, Equipping
and Activating saints. Pray that God will grant them a passion
for the Lost. Pray that these people will see hope in Christ Jesus.
Pray against Hindering Spirits. There is already a revival going
on here in this country But it is not really impacting the poor.
We are believing God for an impartation of a FINISHING SPIRIT
IN THE HEARTS OF THE SAINTS FOR THE HARVEST. Gods heart is for
the poor.
Every night there are people praying all night for souls in the
church I am here to minister to. Marion and I will be joining
them tonight. We will try to keep you informed.
Special thanks to those of you who have taken the time to write
assuring us of your prayers and support.
We love you,
Basil.
